You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Breakout Mechanical Solutions (“Breakout”, “we”, “our”) stands behind the quality of the spare parts and mechanical services we provide. This Warranty Policy outlines the coverage, terms, and conditions for warranties on our products and services to ensure transparency and confidence for our customers.
This policy applies to:
•  Spare Parts supplied by Breakout (genuine OEM and aftermarket).
•  Mechanical Services carried out by Breakout, including repairs, rebuilds, and field servicing.

7. Limitation of Liability

•  Breakout’s liability is limited to the repair, replacement, or refund of defective goods or services as described above.
•  This warranty is in addition to any rights the customer may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

6. Customer Responsibilities

Ensure correct installation, operation, and maintenance of all equipment and parts.
•  Follow recommended service intervals and OEM specifications.
•  Retain proof of purchase for all warranty claims.

5. Remedies

Where a warranty claim is accepted, Breakout will, at its discretion:
•  Repair or replace the defective part/service; or
•  Provide a refund or credit for the defective part/service.

No liability is accepted for consequential damages, loss of production, transport or downtime costs.

4.1 Notification
•  All warranty claims must be lodged in writing to info@breakoutmechanical.au within 7 days of the fault being identified.

4.2 Information Required
Customers must provide:
•  Proof of purchase (invoice, purchase order or delivery docket).
•  Equipment details (make, model, serial number, part id or part number).
•  Description of the fault, supported by photographs where possible.

4.3 Assessment
•  Breakout will assess the claim to determine the cause of failure.
•  We may request the return of defective parts for inspection.
•  If on-site inspection is required, associated travel costs may be chargeable if the claim is deemed non-warranty.

3. Mechanical Services Warranty

3.1 Coverage
•  All mechanical repairs and rebuild services provided by Breakout are warranted for a period of 3 months or 1,000 operational
   hours (whichever occurs first) from the completion date of the service.
•  The warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials used during the service.

3.2 Exclusions
This warranty does not apply to:
•  Failures arising from misuse, improper operation, or lack of maintenance.
•  Components supplied by the customer or third parties.
•  Damage caused by unrelated equipment faults or external factors (e.g., accidents, environmental conditions).
•  Modifications or repairs carried out by parties other than Breakout during the warranty period.

2. Spare Parts Warranty

2.1 Coverage
•  All spare parts supplied by Breakout are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use
   and service conditions.
•  Warranty coverage is:
   -  Genuine OEM parts – as per the original manufacturer’s warranty terms.
   -  Aftermarket parts – 3 months from the date of purchase (unless otherwise stated).

2.2 Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
•  Wear and tear consistent with normal operation.
•  Damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, negligence, or unauthorised modification.
•  Parts not supplied by Breakout.
•  Failure caused by associated components not supplied by Breakout.
